As a business owner on East Hollis Street, close to the bridge, in my opinion, a rotary will be an absolute nightmare. After bring in this location for 18 years, I have seen the increase in traffic and having been a resident of Litchfield and now, Nashua again, the entire East Hollis Street, Canal Street and the Hudson bridge is a total nightmare.
From a business standpoint, we are actually losing business for our take out due to the traffic and customers not wanting to tackle it.
The rotaries that have been added to the city, are less than worthy.
I believe widening E. Hollis Street to more lanes will be more effective than a rotary.
I think also, having had my building and others surrounding, graffitied, the least expensive option to appeal to the eye is best.
This is problem area, despite the traffic, homeless people, panhandlers and the drugs is increasing daily.
Safety and making Nashua the best place, to appeal to others and raise economics
